The Himmapan Forest (or Himavanta) is a concept present in Bhuddist texts, and more specifically, the Thai literature 'Traibhumikatha'. The myth first originated centuries ago, and has slowly been developed by storytellers and artists overtime. The Himmapan Forest as we know today is a product of generations of creators. Contemporarily, the story remains as a niche in Thai culture, and pop culture.
